Words not seldom on the fly invented on a drunken night.

Often times meticulously thought out new prominent academic names for a break-through new invention by scholars. Many times more maliciously used by politicians or ideologues tryings to change peoples views about their own perfect deeds in society. Poets at their best make boggling twists of reality, 1984 a prominant metaphore, the natural boys in California 1948, precursors of the hippies, the name refering to lying on the hip smoking opium in chinese dens, with that the drug possed beat generation of jazz in the fifties sort of preinvented the iconic name Beatles.

Confusion inventing metaphore. Words sometimes branded in shear violence into people´s foreheads. Better otherwise in a mental swing vertigo changing every one’s perception in an instance with a new word. More often in thin brittle bible paper writings glued onto poetry, images, sways, concepts, symbols, capricies, narratives happenings and all imaginable descriptions whatever possible holding in the mind eye or inside epic vast unfathomable unknowns, man’s unconscious use of word manipulation in total everything human mind ever have dealt with.

The swings of unimaginable visions.

TO BE REWRITTEN – MORE OF SCIENCE CONTRIBUTION TO BEND YOUR MINDS

WORDS ARE LABLES

We think not by means of words per se. We think with what words represents, concepts meaning and symbols, even a full story narrative compressed into a single word. The power of words.

A spoken word is already half way down the road in all its implications. Cloud-like sents of assocciations.

The concept of one word might branch out in associated threads and clouds and connect with other related concepts often in thousands. Sometimes like metaphorical visualized fuzzyness of meaning. Also we think with what there in all possible aspects there is. We simulate every aspects of the world. Spatial, our eye’s visions, olifactory, bodily movements, a theater full of inestimable relations in space time mind and beyond.

ORIGIN OF METAPHORE

Every new word is of its origin a metaphore. Describe a new phenomena you have to invent a new as-if-word. Sound mimicking onomatopoetic words like pling or swoosh, are sound metaphores all in their own. All words are a likeness, a simile to what they try to convey. Even prosody and music have metaphorical reality. Without prosody your talk would sound like early computor speech. Without metaphore music wouldn’t touch your inner. Music metaphore tells us stories evoking emotion as well as images.

The reason you don´t recognize every word as metaphore is because old words has transformed themselves through time, been reused, in an other context perhaps, their role has shifted, shortened or misspelled and grinded by use like rocks in the windy rain and sea and totally changed their pronounciation or spelling into unrecognitioning. I tell you. Every word is a metaphore.

It doesn´t stop there. Whole expressions are metaphores. A complete story can be a metaphore {I leave it at that for the moment. We now enter the world of myth}

Do we think by means of words or images? A famous question put to Einstein many times. This question contains assumtions. Are there no other ways of thinking? I suggest pondering concepts and patterns instead. Combine concept and pattern and what do you get; diffuse, smooth, rugged universal perhapsical images. We think by means of concepts, or fuzzy impressions (adding here more. not complete). Given the above on words; Words as mere thin flat lables, agreed apon combinations of sounds and signs and letters. The word, the label points to it’s underlying meaning, the concept, the cloud, the threads of associations, the mulitude of aspects that constitutes what it referes to. We think by means of concepts and patterns. Not by avatars like words.

THINKING IS ANALOGY

Douglas Hofstadter — author of Gödel, Escher, Bach — repeatedly says things like, “analogy is the core of cognition,” “the brain makes analogies without letup,” and “analogy is the fuel and fire of thinking.”

To be continued and iterated..

Man escaped from sea THE METAPHORE Words, signs, names, emblems, tokens, symbols, labels, brands, sometimes mere jots or stamps.
